Queenie Anne

— Artist Biography

I’m Queenie Anne, a Filipino artist based in Switzerland. Art has always been a part of who I am. From a young age, I was naturally drawn to drawing, painting, music, and anything that allowed me to turn imagination and emotion into something tangible.

Beyond visual art, creativity has always been a big part of who I am. I have been writing songs since I was 12 years old and taught myself to play the guitar at 14, giving me another way to express emotions and tell stories through music. I also enjoy challenging my mind—I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in around one and a half minutes, and I have memorized the flags of every country in the world. These different passions reflect my curiosity, creativity, and love for constantly learning and exploring new ways to express myself.

My journey as an artist is rooted in a deep love for storytelling through visual art. I create contemporary works that blend realism, expressive details, bold contrasts, and textured elements. I enjoy experimenting with acrylics, modeling paste, structure, metallic accents, and glossy finishes to give my paintings depth and a distinctive presence.

My inspiration comes from many places — people, memories, nature, travel, freedom, love, dreams, and the quiet emotions that are sometimes difficult to express in words. Whether I’m painting a portrait, an animal, a powerful historical-inspired figure, a car, or a peaceful escape by the ocean, I want each piece to carry a feeling and tell its own story.

For me, painting is more than creating something beautiful. It is a way of preserving a moment, an emotion, or a story that might otherwise disappear. I especially love creating pieces that feel personal — artworks that can remind someone of a person they love, a dream they are chasing, a place they never want to forget, or a chapter of their life that means something to them.

My artistic journey is continuously evolving. I don’t want to limit myself to one subject or one way of creating. I want the freedom to explore, experiment, take risks, and allow my work to grow alongside me.

As I continue building my career as an artist, my dream is to share my work with collectors and art lovers around the world, collaborate with galleries and other creatives, and exhibit internationally.

Every canvas is another part of my journey — and I hope that when someone stands in front of one of my paintings, they don’t simply see it.

I hope they feel something.

MISSION

My mission as a visual artist is to create art that goes beyond what we see—to tell stories, awaken emotions, and inspire people to dream, reflect, and connect.

Through bold colors, expressive details, texture, and contemporary elements, I transform ideas, emotions, and moments of life into artworks that carry their own identity and meaning. I believe that art should not only complement a space; it should create a feeling, spark curiosity, and leave a lasting impression.

Through every piece I create, my goal is to share a part of my imagination with the world and encourage others to embrace individuality, follow their passions, and see beauty from a different perspective. Ultimately, I want my art to become more than something you look at—I want it to become something you feel, remember, and connect with.
