The Lost Queen - Strength,Intelligence, Courage & The Power to Be Yourself
The Lost Queen is more than a painting of Cleopatra. For me, she represents the kind of woman I aspire to be—strong, intelligent, courageous, brave, strategic, and unafraid to stand in her own identity.
When I chose Cleopatra as the subject of this painting, I wasn’t simply interested in portraying an Egyptian queen. I was drawn to what she has come to symbolize: a woman remembered across centuries for her intelligence, leadership, charisma, ambition, and ability to navigate a world dominated by powerful men.
In The Lost Queen, I wanted to capture that strength.
The word “Lost” in the title does not mean weak or defeated. Instead, it represents the moments in life when we lose a part of ourselves—when we question our direction, experience failure, face uncertainty, or wonder whether the dreams we are pursuing will ever become reality.
Sometimes, we have to become lost before we discover who we truly are.
Rising Through Every Fall: A Painting About Resilience, Courage, and New Beginnings
Some paintings begin with an image. Others begin with a feeling or a story. “Rising Through Every Fall” is one of those paintings that carries something deeply personal for me. It represents where I am in my life right now: moving forward, facing uncertainty, learning from failure, and having the courage to pursue the dreams that once felt far away.
At the center of the painting is a woman skiing fearlessly through the snow, surrounded by powerful shades of red, white, black, and gold. The composition is full of movement and energy. But behind the bold colors and dynamic scene is a story about resilience, transformation, and believing in yourself enough to keep going.
