“Rider of Hope” - The Beginning of my Journey as an Artist

There is something unforgettable about doing something for the very first time especially when it feels like stepping into the life you’ve always imagined for yourself. The Rider of Hope is more than just a painting to me. It is my beginning. This piece, created on a 100 x 80 cm canvas, marks my very first large scale painting. My first bold declaration that I am choosing to pursue my passion and turn my dream of becoming an artist into reality.

On the evening of January 1, 2026, while the world was still echoing with New Year celebrations, I quietly began painting what would become a symbol of my journey.

For as long as I can remember, creativity has been part of me. Drawing, painting, and evencreating music have always brought me joy. But painting… painting holds my heart in a different way. It allows me to express emotion, imagination, and identity all at once. And this year, I made a promise to myself: I will pursue it fully, fearlessly, and professionally.

In this painting, I chose to represent myself as a woman riding a majestic horse. She wears pink eyeglasses and a bold pink bodysuit accented with blue colors that reflect both my personality and my artistic voice. I’ve always been drawn to bold, unconventional colors. They speak to my positivity, my vibrant energy, and my imaginative spirit.

The horse she rides is powerful, almost dreamlike—painted in shades of blue with accents of pink and orange. This horse is not just an animal; it is my dreams, my hope, and my inner strength. It carries me forward, guiding me through uncertainty and reminding me that I am capable of reaching my goals.

The pink background is intentional—deeply personal. Pink is not everyone’s favorite color, but it is one of mine. It represents courage for me. It symbolizes the bold decision I’ve made to step out of my comfort zone and fully embrace who I am as an artist. Choosing pink is my way of saying: I am not afraid to be seen. I am not afraid to be different. I am not afraid to chase what sets my soul on fire.

The Rider of Hope is my story in motion. It is the moment I chose to believe in myself. It is the start of a journey filled with uncertainty, excitement, and endless possibility.
